Terms and conditions
 
  1.  All items for sale must have been made by the stall holder, or the stall holder must be the direct representative of the crafter.  Proof may be required in some circumstances.
  2. No bought in mass produced items will be allowed under any circumstances.  Any stall holder displaying items of this nature will be asked to remove them from the venue.  Purely craft events has been set up as a direct response to crafters wanting to avoid such unfair competition. 
  3. All tables must be covered in a floor length cloth and be well presented.
  4. All stalls must be fully set up 20 minutes before the advertised opening time.
  5. No stalls are to be packed away until after the advertised closing time.  This projects a highly  unprofessional image to our customers. 
  6. Access to the venues will usually be from 8am this may very from event to event so please ensure you check your information pack carefully.
  7. It is important that the fairs have a good balance of all areas of the craft spectrum.  For this reason we must limit the number of stall holders selling the same type of items.  All stallholders will be asked to describe the type of goods they wish to sell at the time of booking.  If stallholders display items on the day of the event that have not been agreed at the time of booking they may be asked to remove these items from their stall.  Places are allocated on a first come first served basis for each type of craft.    Please do not be offended if your booking has to be declined for this reason.  We will keep you informed of all future events.
  8. All bookings will be confirmed in writing.  Bookings will only be confirmed when payment has been received.  All fairs under £40 to be paid in full at the time of booking.  Fairs where the fees are over £40 can be secured with a deposit cheque for £25 and a post dated cheque for the remainder to be dated one month before the event.  All bookings must be submitted on a Purely Craft booking form.
  9. Cancellations will be accepted up to one calender month before the event. Such cancellations will incur a £10 administration fee.  Cancellations made less than one calender month before the event for any reason will forfeit the total fee paid.  Cancellations may be made by telephone or email but must be confirmed in writing.  We will send out acknowledgement of all cancellations.
  10. In the unlikely event that a fair has to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control we will endeavour to arrange another date in the near future or refund your money in full.
  11. All stallholders must have appropriate public liability insurance.
  12. All electrical appliances being used at our fairs must have up to date portable appliance testing certificates.
  13. We will do our utmost to ensure you have a successful fair by providing the venue and promoting the fair in the local area in advance of the fair and on the day.  However we cannot be held responsible for the weather, interruption or loss of power supply or failure of media advertising to be published due to errors by others.  We are not responsible for any damage or loss to your stock whilst you are attending our fairs.
